How can you embrace your inner freedom today?
“A slave is one who waits for someone to come and free him.”
Ezra Pound
What are you waiting for? Who are you waiting for? It’s time to break free from the illusion of limited choices and embrace the power of your own decisions. Victor Frank’s “Man’s Search For Meaning” is one of my favorite tomes. I typically read it once yearly and am overdue to pick it up again. If you have yet to read this book, it is a worthwhile investment of time and energy.
Frankl emphasized that while external circumstances can severely restrict one’s physical freedom, individuals always retain the inner freedom to choose their attitude and response to those circumstances. He believed that this inner freedom and the ability to find meaning in any situation are not just fundamental to human dignity, but also a source of immense resilience.
I find it inspiring to consider that freedom lies within us. I find great clarity in applying this verse when facing challenges: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Corinthians 3:17
So what are you waiting for? You already have freedom within you…
“It is this spiritual freedom — which cannot be taken away — that makes
life meaningful and purposeful.” Victor Frankl
